Todd and Susan met in court one day when she was a prosecuting attorney and he was a city police officer on a certain case. After a few months of becoming friendly, Todd finally asked Susan out. Ten months later, Todd proposed! Susan says, Two months before we got engaged, we spent a week in a house on the Cape with my parents, brother, sister, and their spouses, six nieces and nephews and we had a blast. Todd loved the Cape and my family loved him. Having spent many summers on the Cape growing up, Susan always imagined her wedding there, and Todd agreed that there was no other place to consider for their wedding! Todd and Susan chose the Ocean Edge Resort because it allowed them to spend as much time as possible with their guests during the weekends events, and enjoy the beach, pool, golf course, bar and restaurants!

A fashion magazine cover in lime green featuring an actress in bright orange inspired Susans color theme for the day. Todd and Susan both are laid back and casual, and they did not want the wedding to feel formal at all. They used a monogram to on their programs, gift bags, and thank you cards in the lime and orange colors, which were custom designed by Maide Vale. The bridesmaids dresses were Coren Moore, and Susan had custom clutches made at 1154 Lill for each bridesmaid. The boldly colored flowers were done by Clementine Floral .

Susans dress was Romona Keveza, although it was custom made by combining the top of one dress and the bottom of another, and removing the crinoline for a more casual look. Susans sandals were by Lily Pulitzer. Todd wore a Banana Republic navy chino suit with a green striped tie from Jos. A Banks and the groomsmen wore J. Crew khakis and navy sport coats.

Some other details of the reception included table numbers featuring Susan and Todds dog, Chase, at some of their favorite spots on the Cape! Such a cute way to include Chase in their day!

Favors were Candy Lobster Lollipops from Chatham Candy Manor and escort cards were Sand Dollars tied with the guests name.

Thinking back on their favorite moment of the day, Todd Remembers his as seeing Susan walk down the aisle for the first time.

Susan remembers their first dance as her favorite moment of the day, dancing to Jack Johnsons Better Together. The couple stayed on the dance floor for the rest of the evening.

Congratulations Todd and Susan! What a bright, fun, and cheery Cape Cod Wedding! So full of personal style and chic accents. Thanks for sharing your day!
