Linden Place in Bristol, Rhode Island was the perfect backdrop to this fun and flirty, vintage style affair that was bursting with personal touches.

Hydrangea Blue popped against accents of magenta and dark purple. Meghan's tea length lace dress was her own design, and the birdcage veil she made herself paired perfectly with her Stewart Weitzman peep toe pumps creating a 1950's vibe.

Her something borrowed was her mother's necklace and earrings, and her grandmother's beautiful clutch. The men dressed in black tie and the bridesmaid’s blue Chiffon cocktail dresses were striking against the lush garden backdrop of the ceremony.

Meghan states " I had the concept of a Garden Party in my mind and Linden Place fit that perfectly for us". Florals hung through the beautiful Linden Trees Which lined the aisle. One of the most lasting memories for Meghan was the ceremony. "The ceremony was incredibly special to both of us. One of the most memorable part was when all of the church bells in town started ringing and playing songs while we recited our final vows and shared our first kiss. It was really very magical!"

The afternoon was chosen for the ceremony because Meghan "has always loved the warm fall light at that particular time of day". Only two of the wedding guests were from Rhode Island, the rest were welcomed to explore the place that Meghan and Brian love so much.

Details on the Ceremony Programs, Menu Cards, and Place Cards were made with a design imitating the lace on Megan's beautiful dress, and Brian and Meghan worked together to hand punch the design. Meghan even made lace envelope liners for each invitation. Flowers from Jeff and Company complimented the stunning event including Dahlias and Zinnias, and candlelight drenched the Carriage House creating a very romantic vibe. Meghan actually wrapped all of the candles in lace herself! The beautiful Linens from Rentals Unlimited really highlighted the beautiful table decor.

Brian and Meghan also took a few moments to walk through the gardens together to let the moments sink in. Lastly, Meghan states how she enjoyed the challenge of staying within a specific budget. She says, "It forced us to keep things a little more in perspective and focus on those things that were really more important to us. Given the economy, I was able to get a lot of great deals just by asking! It was honestly easier than I thought it would be!"
Kicking it old school, the couple hired a school bus to transport guests back to their hotels. An upscale garden party to say the least, Meghan and Brian worked hard to stay present in each moment to truly take in each aspect of the day. All of their personal touches, family presence, and unique perspective really made for an amazing early fall affair. Congratulations Meghan and Brian!
